Yeah, you don’t HAVE to tip them, but it’s kind of a respect thing. It’s more or less like saying to a painter: “Your art looks like shit.” lol.
ive offered to tip my tattooist. and he refused.
his touchups look awesome, and he likes me. maybe its an individual thing?
actually, you’re expected to tip your tattoo artist. if you don’t, they take it as you’re not satisfied with the tattoo. some tattoo artists take it very personally and note the person that didn’t tip them when they come back for a touch-up….
Tattoo’s cost enough as it is, i havent tipped my tattooist, just be grateful and dont be a bitch about the pain lol
